Webinar Q&A

Q: Where can agents be deployed?
A: Agents are deployed on your workflows and assigned to dedicated workflow phases. This works alongside your transition rules, and each agent is configured with instructions based on your internal policies.

Q: What are the different types of agents available at Gatekeeper?
A: Gatekeeper has several agent types:

  • Review agents: These are deployed on a workflow phase, and review all information and documents related to a specific workflow card. They can provide executive summaries, briefings, write emails, and create risk assessments from due diligence responses.
  • Approval agents: These are deployed on a workflow phase, and can approve or reject specific tasks (i.e. workflow cards). They review all information and documents, and progress cards to the next phase if they meet the defined criteria.
  • Update agents (coming soon): These will update workflow forms automatically based on extracted data and negotiations.

Q: What contract management use cases are there for agents?
A: There are numerous contract management use cases:

  • Initial contract request review and triage
  • Full contract review against contractual playbooks and standards, including specific clause recommendations
  • Post-signature contract management around contractual obligations and SLAs
  • Performance monitoring

Q: Would it be possible to ask Lumin to identify all indemnity clauses across a group of contracts?
A: Yes. This is done contract by contract, but you can create saved views with specific data points showing all indemnity clauses in one place.

Q: What are the security considerations for Lumin Agents?
A: Gatekeeper works with AWS Bedrock, providing data sovereignty across all regions. Each region has specific data centres (North America, Canada, APAC, EMEA). No data leaves your Gatekeeper tenant or is passed to any model. All data, including all proprietary, confidential, and commercially sensitive information stays within your environment and is never used to train models.

Q: Can agents in one workflow trigger another workflow based on specific criteria?
A: Yes and no. Agents do work that can impact data in a workflow, which can trigger other workflows using Gatekeeper's parallel workflow capability. If a data point changes, different workflows can be triggered to start. For example, depending on answers in a vendor onboarding process, a Data Processing Impact Assessment process can start, with agents reviewing responses in the parallel workflow.

Q: Are the AI agents predetermined by Gatekeeper, or would we as a client need to determine them?
A: Both. Gatekeeper has approximately 50 out-of-the-box AI agents (including intake agents and SIG Lite questionnaire agents for vendor due diligence). These can be deployed immediately or tailored to specific requirements. Gatekeeper also builds custom agents with clients through a scoping, building, and iteration process. Currently, customers don't build agents themselves - Gatekeeper handles configuration to ensure the best experience.

Q: Can an agent edit custom fields?
A: The update agent that is coming soon will be able to update any field in a workflow card, including custom data fields. This will significantly reduce time spent completing forms within Gatekeeper.
