How to - Assign Access Groups to Users
Please read the How to - Create an Access Group article for background.
1, Select the Role 'Custom' when editing a User (see the article How to - Edit existing Users)
2, Then choose from the Role Permission dropdown all access groups to apply.
Note. a user can have any number of access groups assigned to them
3, Click 'Save'
