The User Detail Page allows to you view and manage a user's settings, report on their usage and reassign ownership of objects within Gatekeeper.
You can access the page via Settings / Users where you can view multiple tabs that provide granular detail into the User's configuration, their ownership along with a dedicated audit trail of their actions within Gatekeeper.
Please note: this page, and the controls provided are only made available to Global Administrators within additional privileges to both the Settings and History areas of Gatekeeper.
How to Access
1. Within the Navigation menu on the left-hand side of the screen, click Settings.
2. From the expanded Settings menu click Users
3. In the search box at the top of the User Management page, type the user's name or email address.
The User Detail tab contains 3 tabs:
Within this page, multiple tabs provide more granular detail into the User's configuration, their ownership along with a dedicated audit trail of their actions within Gatekeeper.
There are 4 different sections under the Data tab:
- User Access
The Summary section contains the User’s basic contact details and configuration within Gatekeeper. By clicking the edit button, you can perform actions such as updating the User’s email address, editing role permissions within Gatekeeper and grant or restrict access etc.
The ownership section provides a summary of what the User owns within Gatekeeper. This section greatly assists understanding Users who leave your organisation or change role.
You can reassign owned items from one User to another directly within the user interface.
1, Select the Item to be Reassigned e.g. Contract Owner | Owner
2, Click 'Reassign' on the same row
3, Use the dropdown 'Transfer the selected records to' to select the recipient of the items that are to be transferred
4, Select the items to be transferred. To select all items on the page, click the 'All' checkbox (upper left) otherwise, select the individual item's checkbox.
5, Click 'Bulk Transfer'
Note, a maximum of 50 Items is displayed at a time on each page
This is a summary of user access against the User’s account which can be drilled into to provide further information including their authentication method supporting the enterprise grade audit tracking available within Gatekeeper.
If you drill into Logins from Last Month as pictured below, you can view the User’s login summary from Last Month featuring a log of Login Dates, Login Times and Authentication methods used.
Here you can now control which users should and should not receive the weekly summary updates from Gatekeeper.
Here you can you can view the User’s login summary from a specified date range featuring a log of Login Dates, Login Times and Authentication methods used.
Here you can see History of the user's activity and a full audit trail of all their actions within Gatekeeper providing Administrators with peace of mind that they can always report on the exact action any User has taken.
If I drill into Suppliers as pictured below, I can view the history of activity and a full audit trail of all the User’s actions against Supplier records.
