The latest enhancements to Gatekeeper
1. eSign - Upload Signature
eSign now includes the ability to upload a signature image. Signers have the ability to crop the specific area containing the signature to ensure that only the signature is captured from their uploaded image. This will be saved and can be reused for any future signature requests.
What does this mean for you?
Written signature images help to add a human touch to an otherwise digital signature process. It helps to keep it consistent with more traditional manual signature methods while greatly increasing the efficiency of having to regularly sign multiple documents with the same signature. 2. Workflows - File Expiry
Workflows have been enhanced to now provide File Expiry compatibility. Within workflow forms, you can now add an 'Attached File With Expiry Date' predefined section which enables you to extrapolate the File, Expiry Date, File Type and Comments. Using this predefined form section in conjunction with our new workflow File triggers provides you with the ability to trigger workflow cards from File metadata and subsequently update both the File and metadata within the workflow.
What does this mean for you?
This means that you can now automate notifications and start a review/approval process for documents associated directly with a Contract or Supplier record. Learn more about File Expiry and how to use them with your Workflows.
3. Workflows - Card Creator View Only Access
We have added an additional workflow user authorisation option called 'Local Workflow Card Creator View Only Access'. When enabled this grants all Card Creators view-only access to all open cards that they have created in a specific workflow in Gatekeeper.
What does this mean for you?
This authorisation option is ideal for allowing Card Creators to view the progress and updates related to their cards without providing them with the ability to complete any action on the card. Learn more about this and other workflow authorisation options.
