Product Release Update - Introducing the Agent Library

7 November 2026

For the first time, you can put Gatekeeper Agents to work from inside your own Gatekeeper tenant.

Browse the Agent Library, see what each agent checks and what it needs, then switch it on at the workflow stage where you want it working. Agents take on routine work such as reviewing SOC 2 reports, checking insurance certificates, or pulling the key dates out of a contract, so your team can focus on the exceptions.

Your workflows stay exactly as they are until you switch an agent on.

Unlimited agents on our Unified Plan. Ask your Account Director what’s included in yours.

Click below to watch our Agent Library demonstration and go from browsing to deploying in minutes:

Try it yourself:

Choose, check, assign

Choose an agent

You need to be a Global Administrator with the Configuration additional permission to view the agent library.

  1. From the navigation menu, expand Settings, then click Configuration.
  2. Click AI Services, then click Configure on the Workflow Agents tile.

This lists every agent in your tenant, including the ready-made Gatekeeper Agents and any custom agents already built for you. Agents deployed to a workflow phase appear first.

Click View on a card to see what the agent does, what it needs to work, which phase suits it best, what it checks, and what you get back.

The library covers three areas: vendor risk and compliance, contract lifecycle management, and vendor performance and savings. You can find full detail on each agent on our AI agents page.

Check the workflow form

You need to be a Workflow Administrator or Local Workflow Administrator to deploy an agent on a workflow.

Before you assign an agent, make sure the workflow form gives it what it needs:

  • If the agent reviews contract data fields, such as the annual value, add the predefined contract section to the form
  • If the agent checks for a document, such as a SOC 2 report, add a file upload field for it
  • If the agent updates specific fields, make sure those fields aren’t read only or hidden on the phase

Assign it to a phase

  1. Go to the workflow and click to edit the phase the agent should work on.
  2. From Form Access, select the agent in the AI Agents field.

Once assigned, the agent acts on every card that enters that phase.

Agents are assigned regardless of the auto-assign rules and card owner settings, so you can also set a card owner to act as the human in the loop. For details, see Configure Workflow Phase Access and Ownership.

The number of agents you can deploy depends on your plan. Your Account Director can tell you what’s included in yours.

What you get back

Most agents write a review on the card: a verdict, a table of findings and questions to send the supplier. Each finding quotes the evidence and points to the page or clause, so your team can check it quickly. If a document is missing, the agent tells you what it needs instead of guessing.

A few agents fill in form fields instead, such as risk tier, contract category, and key dates. They never overwrite a field that already has a value.

Stay in control

The agent recommends, and your team decides what happens next. Agents only see what you’ve made visible to them on their phase, so they never go beyond what you’ve given them access to.

Every agent action is recorded in Gatekeeper with a timestamp, including the criteria applied, the decision made, the supporting evidence and the reasoning where applicable. That gives you a searchable record of how each outcome was reached, which supports compliance checks, internal review and audit.

What’s coming next

In a later release, you’ll be able to tailor agents yourself using our AI chat interface. Until then, our Professional Services team can scope a fully tailored agent with you.
